How we list jobs
Where Hirepins jobs come from, what we add to them, how we check the facts, and the quality bar every listing has to meet before it appears in search engines.
Where our jobs come from
Hirepins lists IT and tech jobs from two sources: roles that employers and recruiters post directly on Hirepins, and roles we import from the Adzuna job search API for the countries we cover — the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Imported jobs are marked with their source, and applications always go to the hiring company, by email or through the company's own careers page.
What we add to every imported job
An imported ad is never published as it arrives. We fetch the full advertisement, then organise it into clear sections — a short summary, what you will do, what you need (essential and nice-to-have), the tech stack and the stated terms — and add a "How to stand out for this role" section with likely interview topics, the keywords to mirror in your CV and what to show in a portfolio, all specific to that job. Every job page also shows live Hirepins insights, such as how the salary compares with similar jobs in the same country, how often its main skills are requested, and the company's other open roles.
How we keep the facts right
We use AI to help structure each ad, and every fact it produces is checked automatically against the original: technologies must appear in the ad, every number (salary, contract length, days in the office) must match the ad, and visa sponsorship is only mentioned when the employer says so. Anything that cannot be confirmed is removed before the job is published. Ads written in another language are presented in English with a note that the original language is probably required.
Our quality bar
A job is only shown in search engines when it meets our quality bar: an IT role, a clear way to apply, a location or salary, and a complete, enriched description. Jobs that do not meet it are removed or kept off search engines. We focus on fewer, better listings rather than thousands of copies of the same ad, and we close or remove jobs once their closing date has passed.
Country guides and salary figures
Our country pages combine a short guide to working in tech in each country — including the main work-visa routes, with links to the official government pages — with figures calculated from the jobs listed on Hirepins at that moment. Salary figures are medians of salaries stated in live job ads, so they change as jobs are added and closed. Visa rules change often, so always confirm the details on the official government site before you apply.
