What you'll do

• Take technical project lead for software projects in HMI, GUI and host communication of semiconductor machines according to product and development roadmap, from planning to commissioning
• Plan, allocate and control work packages within the internal team and with external partners and service providers, keeping track of schedules, costs and quality
• Serve as the central interface between software development, mechanics, electrical engineering, service, production and sales to ensure smooth information flow
• Coordinate the creation of specifications, functional specifications and software documentation and ensure compliance with standards (e.g. SECS/GEM, SEMI)
• Work closely with the supervisor, align projects with corporate objectives and make decisions on priorities and resources
• Contribute expertise in C#/.NET to development and take responsibility for technical quality of software (code reviews, testing, documentation)
• Bring ideas for optimization of technical and organizational processes with creativity and constructive action
• Present technical solutions at customer demonstrations and training, support sales with technical questions and risk assessments, and travel occasionally in‑ and abroad

What you'll need

Must have

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical or automation engineering (ETH, FH) or comparable qualification, preferably with further training in project management (e.g. IPMA, PMP, Scrum)
• 4+ years professional experience, including experience in leading software projects, ideally in mechanical engineering or automation
• Experience in managing external service providers and suppliers as well as interdisciplinary teams
• Solid knowledge of HMI architectures and software development methods as well as in .NET, C# and SQL databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) to assess and control work packages
• Communication, presentation and moderation skills – also with non‑technical stakeholders – as well as organizational talent and solution orientation
• Secure English in spoken and written as well as very good German language skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software quality assurance is desirable
• Knowledge of SECS/GEM norms, standards and processes is advantageous but not mandatory
