What you'll do
- Spend real time with customers on calls and site visits to understand their problems
- Translate customer input into clear problem statements, scopes, and plans
- Design and build backend services in Go and Python that process tenders, catalogs and purchase orders
- Ship features quickly, observe usage, and iterate based on feedback
- Own production systems, troubleshoot and fix issues for customers
- Leverage AI throughout the product, designing systems usable by both agents and people
What you'll need
Must have
- Experience taking something from zero to one (company, product line, or paying side project)
- Built and run production backend systems that others depend on
- Strong skills in Go or Python (comfortable working in both)
- Solid knowledge of data modeling, API design and handling messy real‑world data
- Willingness to talk to customers directly and handle ambiguity
Nice to have
- Fluency in German (plus, not required)
- Founding or first‑engineer experience
- Experience with AI, LLMs, or agentic AI
