What you'll do

• Plan and administer the school board's information system architecture.
• Analyze complex requests, conduct cost‑benefit studies and define implementation timelines.
• Advise stakeholders on available technology solutions and associated costs.
• Participate in the implementation of the IT project portfolio, including pilots and proofs of concept.
• Ensure quality control, documentation and user training.
• Coordinate a team of analysts and monitor technology trends.

What you'll need

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong experience with Hyper‑V virtualization (high availability, failover clustering, live migration, CSV)
• Experience with backup/disaster recovery using Veeam or similar solution
• Mastery of Active Directory and related services (FSMO roles, DNS, SYSVOL/DFSR, managed service accounts MSA/gMSA)
• Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS, RD Gateway, RDWeb, Connection Broker, Session Host)
• Good knowledge of network and storage infrastructure (VLAN, TCP/IP, routing, VPN, SAN/NAS, iSCSI, SMB3, RAID)
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and priority‑management abilities

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Experience or knowledge of the Indigenous education sector
• Work experience in Nunavik or a northern context
• Proficiency in two of the three working languages: Inuktitut, French or English
