Program Manager – Security at APA leads the coordination, governance and reporting of the company’s security uplift program, working across protective security, cyber, resilience and workforce functions. What you'll do
- Lead coordination and governance of APA’s security uplift program
- Coordinate program activities across protective security, cyber security, workforce, resilience and third‑party assurance initiatives
- Develop and manage an integrated program roadmap with milestones, dependencies, risks and deliverables
- Facilitate alignment across business functions on implementation priorities and resource requirements
- Establish governance, assurance and reporting frameworks for program performance and readiness
- Coordinate enterprise‑wide assessment and uplift activities to identify capability gaps
- Prepare executive papers, governance updates, business cases and investment recommendations
- Manage program risks, issues, decisions and dependencies with timely escalation
What you'll need
- Strong program or portfolio management experience within a complex organisational environment
- Knowledge of relevant security legislation, including the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) Act
- Experience establishing governance, reporting and assurance frameworks
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across diverse business functions
- Strong risk management, planning and problem‑solving capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills, including executive reporting and presentation development
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on delivery outcomes
