What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a small firmware development team
• Manage the firmware product backlog, structuring requirements and prioritizing work packages
• Develop reusable firmware platform components in C/C++ with clear software architectures
• Make architectural decisions within the team's scope of responsibility
• Analyze requirements and convert them into technical specifications and development plans
• Actively participate in the conception, development, and implementation of innovative firmware solutions

What you'll need

• Completed higher technical education (HTL, FH, or TU) in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Multi-year experience in developing embedded firmware for microcontrollers
• Focus on abstraction, clean interfaces, and testable software architectures
• Very good knowledge of C, C++, RTOS concepts, and Python
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks to successful completion
• Team-oriented personality with open communication and high sense of responsibility
