Project Manager - Data Centres

About this role

Circet Ireland & UK is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead hyperscale data centre structured cabling projects across the UK and mainland Europe. The role suits candidates with proven delivery experience in hyperscale and Google data centres and strong technical knowledge of cabling and fibre optics.

What you'll do

• Lead hyperscale data centre structured cabling projects from design to handover.
• Manage delivery against client requirements, specifications, quality standards and timelines.
• Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs) from client designs.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, progress reports and delivery trackers.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Act as primary contact between customers, site teams and internal departments.
• Identify, communicate and manage project risks, changes and delivery challenges.
• Track change notices, change orders and related documentation.

What you'll need

Must have

• Previous experience delivering projects within hyperscale data centre environments
• Proven project management experience in structured cabling, fibre optic installations or data centre network infrastructure
• Strong technical knowledge of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a structured cabling solutions
• Experience with OM3, OM4, OM5, OS1 and OS2 fibre optic cabling solutions
• Ability to manage projects through full lifecycle including planning, installation, testing and handover
• Experience producing Bills of Materials, managing change orders and coordinating logistics
• Strong organisational, leadership and stakeholder communication skills
• Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
• Willingness to travel to European project sites approx. three days per week

Nice to have

• Experience working on Google data centre projects
• CAD experience
